Metro Republican Women Host Presidential Campaign Debate

MINNESOTA LEADERS OF GOP PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGNS TO DEBATE AT LINCOLN DAY EVENT

Minnesota Republican Party Deputy Chair Chris Fields will moderate discussions on economy, illegal immigrants and the national debt at the Metro Republican Women’s high tea in Mendota Heights

GOP Deputy Chair Chris Fields will lead a discussion with Minnesota representatives of major presidential campaigns at the Metro Republican Women’s Annual Lincoln Day Tea.  Minnesota leaders for campaigns of Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Chris Christie, Carly Fiorina, and Ben Carson are expected to be on the panel.  Campaign leaders will share experiences in Minnesota and the key values their candidates represent.

“President Lincoln was known for his quality debates, the encounters with Mr. Douglas.  We are pleased that Chris Fields will host this forum, which invites discussion on the challenging issues being addressed on the campaign trail,” said Margaret Flower, the president of Metro Republican Women.

Chris Fields was elected deputy chair for the Minnesota Republicans in 2014.  He completed his 21 years in the United States Marine Corps.
