We are looking for volunteers to join us in the Edina 4th of July Parade. If you will be in town, put this on your calendar. We will be marching for fun, to spend time with friends, to support our beliefs, and maybe even get some exercise. All it takes is 3 hours, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. We meet near the Edina Community Center, walk north to city hall, and East on 50th Street until you get to Lund’s. It is a 1-mile walk.
We will carry signs supporting our causes. We will hand out candy to children along the parade route. The pace is sedate enough for everyone from toddlers to those in their 80’s to keep up. Everyone is invited—friends and family, old and young. There is no cost to you.
Please scroll down to volunteer. We ask for your contact information, so that we can follow up with you a few days before the parade on where we will meet, details of the parade route and where to park. Wear red, if you can and dress appropriately for the weather. If you have any questions call Wayne Wenger at 952-926-8627.
