What do you think when you read a headline like, "Walz puts Minnesota middle, high schools on path to reopen"? Who is this guy who gets to dictate when our schools can open and when they must remain closed? Or how many people we can have at our Super Bowl party?
You'll hear what our featured speaker, Jake Duesenberg of Action for Liberty, is doing about Gov. Walz' abuse of his emergency powers. Jake has been a vigorous defender of the personal liberties and civil rights that are threatened by Walz' single-handed lawmaking by executive order. He will tell us what he and his organization are doing about it.
First, we will hear from Minnesota State Senator Mark Koran, who is running against Jennifer Carnahan for Chair of the Minnesota Republican Party and from Doug Wardlow who is running for a second time against Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison.
Time: 9:30 a.m. sign in and casual conversation, 10:00 a.m. convene
Cost: $5/member, $10/non-member (cash only)
NOTE: By executive order, masks must be worn at all times. No food or beverages can be served and
no food or bottled water of any kind can be brought in.
We are now collecting 2021 dues, which will remain $20 for individuals and $30 for couples, good for all of 2021. Members pay $5 to attend a meeting and non-members pay $10. The basic fee per meeting includes a selection of beverages and snacks (when pandemic restrictions permit) and helps us defray the cost of the room. We accept checks and cash only; we don't take credit cards. You may pay your 2021 dues when you arrive or send a check made payable to “Republican Seniors of MN” to Terry Flower, Treasurer, 12880 Lock Boulevard, Hastings, MN 55033.
We hope you will come and spend some time with us on Tuesday, March 9!
