Southwest metro Republicans are resuming our online Pints & Pent-up meet-ups on Thursday evening, March 18, with special guest Sen. Mark Koran.
Mark Koran is the state senator representing District 32, Chisago and Isanti Counties. He is vice-chair of the Senate Committee on Government and serves on the Committee on Aging, Environment/Natural Resources and Commerce. He is also a candidate for Chair of the Republican Party of Minnesota.
Sen. Koran will initially provide his views about current actions in the legislature and about why he is running to replace Jennifer Carnahan. He will then take questions from the audience that are submitted through the chat feature on Zoom. He will take as many questions as the 90-minute format permits.
Pints & Pent-up will take the form of a Zoom meeting. You will need a computer with a built-in camera and speakers to fully enjoy this meeting format. However, if your computer doesn’t have a camera and speakers – or if you don’t have a computer – you are still in luck. You can call into this meeting and still participate.
This free online networking event will start at 7 pm, with sign-in open at 6:45 pm. By necessity, it will be more in the format of a Meet & Greet, where our speakers will make a few minutes of remarks followed by a question & answer period.
We will need to limit attendance at this event to the first 100 people that sign up. Please RSVP by signing up below no later than Tuesday, March 16, so we can send you a link and/or a call-in number and access code.
